Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 12, 2026

1. The short version

mehrradar collects the minimum needed to run a paid monitoring service: an anonymous account identifier, the targets you ask us to check, the check results, and the operational records needed to bill correctly. No email address is requested at signup, there are no third-party analytics or advertising trackers, and there is no ad business model -- the product is paid for per check.

2. What we store

3. What we do not do

4. What appears on monitoring nodes

Checks run on radar's monitoring nodes (and, for self-hosted nodes you register, on your own machines). A node assigned to your probe necessarily sees your probe's target and parameters -- that is how checking works. Node operators under our root accounts are bound by the same terms.

5. Data lifetime

6. Security

Access to your account requires your secret token, shown once at creation. Transport is TLS-encrypted, and the live-update channel runs over authenticated WebSocket connections. You can rotate your token at any time from the dashboard, which invalidates the old one immediately.

7. Changes

Material changes to this policy are announced on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
